There is a DVD box set of Kovacs shows in the works, slated for release sometime in 2nd half of 2009 by Koch Vision and the Archive of American Television. 15 hours of programs, remastered from original materials (as much as possible), plus some extras.

Dear Niffwiggl,
Thank God!
Ernie's tv work has been salvaged and it being rereleased to
his fans.
I doubt that I'll be able to acquire that collection right
now.
When I do get the funds however?
I'm going to get these rare pieces of tv comedy history
created,produced and presented by a unique genius..who
sadly left us all too soon over 40 years ago.

Umm...you don't have to worry about not having the funds right now. If you read above, it clearly states the release has been scrapped. |

Dear Booklover,
I'v read the info at the other website and NO!
The rerelease of Mr.Kovacs' tv shows onto dvd are not
being scrapped..they're on hold for now.
Whether or not..these shows will be made available again
to his fans..is up to the lawyers handling his estate and to the
persons..who own the kinnie films and videotapes of his tv work
right now.
Let's hope and pray that there will be no delays or problems
in getting these shows back to his devoted fans and to the buffs,
students and fans of true tv comedy history?
